ZOLA – I’m late to the party. To be honest, I didn’t want to see it because I didn’t think Taylor was the best fit for Zola. Her AAVE and Southern drawl felt forced and inauthentic. But then I saw her in #Boogie, and she was one of my favorite characters. So, I finally decided to give Zola a try.

Film Review: DON’T LOOK UP
DON’T LOOK UP: I laughed. A lot. It’s a farce. Take it for what it is and enjoy.

Film Review: BOOGIE
BOOGIE – On-the-nose dialogue, a few illogical plot points to reach the goal, and a not so tidy resolution, but I enjoyed learning about the Chinese-American experience and Taylour Paige was surprisingly charming.

Film Review: CRUELLA
CRUELLA: I enjoyed the origin story as THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA meets rock n roll. I loved the inclusion of dogs (though I wish they weren’t CGI) and it was great to see Anita and Roger before they become the married couple with the hundreds of Dalmations.
